Popular Content Component

The Popular Content component shows which pages had the most views in a time period. It automatically updates based on Adobe Analytics.

Authoring Fields

Adding the Popular Content component to the page

1. Once on the desired page in Edit mode, add the Popular Content component by doing the following:

a. Option 1- double click on “Drag components here.” A modal titled “Insert New Component” will pop up. Type “Popular Content” in the search bar, or scroll to the Popuar Content component in the list. Double click to add to page.

b. Option 2- on the left hand rail, navigate to the Components tab. Type “Popular Content” in the search bar, or scroll to the Popular Content component in the list. Double click to add to page.

Editing the Popular Content component

  1. With the edit wrench, open the component.
  2. Title field: Add a title to appear above the component.
  3. Parent Page List: select internal page path for the component to pull from 
  4. Sorting Display: Using the dropdown, select from: Past 24 Hours, Last Week, Last Month, Last Year
  5. Show/Hide Icons: Using the dropdown, select from Show or Hide Icons. Icons will be authored in page properties of that page. Recommendation: only show icons if ALL pages have icons.
