    Alerts provide important and time-sensitive information to the user. Keystone Design System includes both global and in-page alerts.

    Alerts provide important and time-sensitive information to the user.

    Each alert should only contain one important message. If you have more than one important message, use a link to direct users to the full list of messages.

    Alert types

    Keystone Design System includes global and in-page alerts:

    • Global alerts are used across every page of a website. They are ideal for global messages to all users. 
    • In-page alerts appear on a single page. These are contextual and may be used in response to a user’s action.
